Redland Museum is divided into themed display areas. Each display depicts an aspect of the life and social history of the Redlands community.
The objects are still important, but they are doubly important in that they also illustrate the stories of the people who owned and used them, and what life would have been like at that time. To this aim, the Museum’s policy is to preserve or restore objects to the condition they would have been in when in use.
Wherever possible, objects are restored to a working condition, and demonstrated to visitors on special event days during the year.
