Resource Library

The Reference Library exists to support the research and development process of the Redland Museum collection.

The Reference Library is to be used on site and is not designed for a borrowing public. Only Redland Museum members may borrow from the Reference Library. Borrowing will not be considered standard practice and can only be done with permission from the Operations Manager or an executive member of the Management Committee. Regardless of who has given permission, the borrowing of a book must be registered with the Operations Manager and entered on the Research Library Database.

Non-members of Redland Museum will be required to apply in writing for permission to access the Reference Library. Supervision of non-members while using the Reference Library will be required and will be taken into consideration upon granting a written request for access.

Members will be permitted to photocopy material from the Reference Library in accordance with the Copyright Act, a standard notice of which will be visible in the Reference Library. Members will be charged 5 cents per copy. Non-members will be permitted to photocopy material from the Reference Library under the same conditions, however they will be charged 20 cents per copy. All photocopying will be done either by or under the supervision of staff or appropriate supervising member.
